Rich DeLong III

The first time I heard anyone refer to Rich DeLong III as "Ding Dong" - I thought they were making a derogatory comment.

Not so.

"Ding Dong" is most definitely a term of affection and endearment as you get to know this fun and colorful racer!

In the tradition of Tim Richmond [without the self-destruction] or the modern era of Scott Speed - Super Stock and Super Truck driver Rich "Ding Dong" DeLong is the kind of charismatic and entertaining personality who should attract the attention of Energy Drinks, Athletic Shoes or any "hip" sponsors!

There's also a bit of Kyle Busch going on here as the DeLong name comes with it's fair share of contoversy and a healthy mix of cheers and jeers from the grandstands. Why? Who knows. It's just the way fans are when you have a driver who maintains the kind of high profile Rich does at his local tracks. They might love him or scorn him - But they sure do know him!
